Despite being long-time members of the Bullet Club, a babyface turn could be precisely what Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa need. Although Tanga Loa has always been Bullet Club through and through, even OG member Tama Tonga started in New Japan as a babyface. Yet, as crazy as it might sound, the idea of a face turn isn’t something fans would be shocked at.
During the past few months, in their feud with CHAOS and Suzuki Gun for the tag titles, fans have come to respect the duo for their wrestling. Their unwillingness to allow Jado to interfere in their matches has come as a relief, especially after the shenanigans of the House of Torture. As both athletes are super talented and charismatic, it isn’t hard for crowds to root for them.
Whether they choose to stay together or go their separate ways, a babyface turn will be the chance for a new start. Although it is hard to believe they’d join Hontai any time soon, any faction would willingly take the brothers for their talent, heart, and just to get back at Bullet Club.
