There were a few injury concerns heading into AEW Double Or Nothing, and it’s now surfaced that a top star worked the show with a broken rib.
Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks was one fifth of the Elite team that was victorious over the Inner Circle in the Stadium Stampede match which was hailed as the best cinematic match in recent times.
Jackson’s wife Dana took to Instagram, posting a picture of him doing a huge moonsault with the caption:
My husband is CRAZY So thankful he’s okay (besides a broken rib)… that match was fun, but also super stressful to watch last night!! ❤️

Jackson injured his ribs doing a crossbody from the stadium stands on the Double Or Nothing go-home episode of Dynamite last Wednesday.
Two other stars also got injured on the same show and had to be pulled from the pay-per-view. Britt Baker suffered an interior tibia fracture, partial lateral collateral ligament tear, popliteus tendon tearafter having Nyla Rose powerbombed directly onto her leg. She was set to face Kris Statlander but was replaced with Penelope Ford, and is expected to be out for about six-eight weeks.
Rey Fenix landed awkwardly doing a dive to the outside, and was replaced in the Casino Ladder Match with Joey Janela. Tony Khan has said Fenix is expected back in action soon
