Two AEW Stars Set For ‘I Quit’ Match AEW

Two AEW stars have signed a contract for an upcoming ‘I Quit’ match after Tony Khan made a rare in-ring appearance in the segment.

On tonight’s edition of Ring of Honor on Honor Club, there have been a variety of announcements including an intriguing stipulation match being signed.

In a segment which included a rare in-ring appearance by AEW CEO Tony Khan, Ethan Page and Tony Nese vowed to settle their score at Final Battle with a stipulation as serious as the ‘personal animosity’ between the two.

The match will feature the ‘I Quit’ stipulation, announced in a segment that also included Nese mocking Page using old photos, throwing protein powder in his face and throwing him through a table.

Earlier in the episode, Bryan Danielson announced a very special match for Final Battle, which is set for December 15.

Danielson proposed the Blackpool Combat Club take on AEW stars FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and Mark Briscoe.

The match was yet to be formally accepted, but the nature of it points to it being made official very soon.

Already set for action at Final Battle, Athena puts her ROH Women’s World Championship on the line against Billie Starkz.

It was announced that Athena vs. Billie Starkz will feature as the main event for ROH Final Battle live from Garland, Texas.

Also, Shane Taylor is set to face off against Keith Lee, and there’ll be a six-person match to determine the next ROH TV Champion after that title was vacated by Samoa Joe.
