WrestlingNews.co is reporting Vince McMahon is in a better mood since the contract was finalized with The Amway Center. Apparently, even Vince McMahon has been developing the coronavirus blues.
We’ve heard reports of torn up scripts and show re-writes at the last minute. He’s been giving up on new stars so fast it’s given some fans whiplash.
It seems this is all related to losing fans and not getting some of his biggest stars to come to the performance center. According to the report, Vince feels like wrestlers are more worried about contracting the virus in a tight space like the performance center. He feels the much larger Amway center will open the door for Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to come back.
Additionally, it seems he is pleased with the look of the new set-up. He thinks the show will help get the viewers back to the levels pre-virus.
WrestlingNews.co has two sources who are reporting Vince is more upbeat in meetings and just in general.
One source said:
“Vince feels like the worst is over and he feels that the company can get back to where things were before the virus came along. He has been in a great mood ever since they locked in the contract with Amway [Center].”
Another source said:
“Vince thinks it might take a few weeks to get back the fans that we lost but when they realize we are out of the Performance Center and they see how cool the shows look, they will be back. He thinks the numbers can get back to where they were in February and early March.”
Of course, Vince isn’t always the best read of what the audience wants. So, he could be back in a bad mood real quick if things don’t go as he plans.
