WWE Star Throws Shade At Becky Lynch Following NXT Women’s Championship Win

A WWE star and grand slam winner has reacted to Becky Lynch’s NXT Women’s Championship victory over Tiffany Stratton by throwing some shade at The Man on Twitter.

Lynch’s fellow horsewomen Bayley, reacted to Lynch finally checking off the NXT Title from her WWE bucket list, but not with a message of congratulations for the Lass Kicker.

Instead Bayley poked fun at how long it has taken Lynch to achieve what she did eight years ago, saying:

Despite the other members of the four horsewomen Bayley, Charlotte and Sasha Banks all capturing the NXT crown during their initial runs on the black and gold brand, the title was one that passed Lynch by.

However, now with NXT regularly featuring main roster stars as well as those still rising through WWE’s ranks, opportunities to compete for the the brand’s championships are now a possibility for Raw and SmackDown stars.

Lynch’s big win sees her join her husband, World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins as a major singles champion in WWE.

In her first comments since her title win, Lynch said that she and Rollins are ‘controlling the business’, now that they both hold gold, click here to read her full comments.
