A WWE name has pitched for Bianca Belair to make her return during the Women’s Royal Rumble match and winning.
Bianca Belair has not competed since WrestleMania 41, where she suffered an injury during the Women’s World Championship Triple Threat match with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.
With Bianca’s return on the horizon, many have speculated when she could make her return, with some believing we could see her at Survivor Series or Saturday Night’s Main Event.
However, on his Notsam Wrestling Show, Sam Roberts made the pitch for Bianca to make her return during the Women’s Royal Rumble match to set up a WWE Women’s Championship match with Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42.
He also pitched for Rhea Ripley to dethrone Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship to set up a defence against IYO SKY at WrestleMania.
He said:
“I wanna see, I want Rhea Ripley to win the Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer, and I think that’ll be a controversial one, and there will be some people upset by that, but it’s to get to a bigger picture, which is Rhea Ripley wins the championship and IYO SKY wins the Elimination Chamber.
“I think Rhea Ripley defending the championship one on one against the one woman on the roster she can’t beat has the potential to main event one night of WrestleMania. I think you could main event one of the nights with Rhea defending against IYO, I think the story is that big, and it’s over a year in the making. That story really starts in February of this year.
“IYO, the night after the Elimination Chamber, beats Rhea Ripley, nobody saw it coming, and has spent this whole year being the person Rhea can’t beat. Then they become friends, and then the whole thing evolves to the point where you get to WrestleMania.
“Rhea defending against IYO, I don’t want IYO defending against Rhea. I think that dynamic and that match has the potential to main event one of the two nights.
“Also, if you have Jade Cargill win the WWE Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and be a dominant champion for 5 months, only for Bianca Belair to return at the Royal Rumble and get the WrestleMania match.
“If you’re saying your two women’s championship matches at WrestleMania are Jade Cargill vs. Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY, it is one of the strongest sets of championship matches in the women’s division that I recall seeing at a WrestleMania. I think those two matches, one on one, singles matches, are both super matches.
“You could bring Bianca Belair back for WarGames but I’m hoping it’s the Royal Rumble, and we really do get to see Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill with Jade defending the title after a strong reign, and the reign has to be strong. If it’s not strong, cut bait, but if we can create a strong run, and I think we can, have the ultimate title defence at WrestleMania be against Bianca Belair? I think that’s the culmination of everything we’ve been waiting for for Jade Cargill.”
