WWE
WWE WrestleMania 42 will feature a star studded card on both nights of the premium live event from Las Vegas, Nevada.
While the matches will garner plenty of attention, WWE could highlight some incoming talent with a debut on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
Whether it be NXT stars getting called up or a free agent coming into the promotion, these debuts will be talked about for a long time considering the company featuring them on their biggest show of the year.
Here are eight potential debuts at WWE WrestleMania 42.
8. Joe Hendry
On the April 14 NXT Revenge special, Joe Hendry teased a main roster callup with his latest original song during an In-Concert segment.
The former NXT Champion has felt like a main roster ready act since signing with WWE in November 2025.
After appearing on the WrestleMania 41 event, it would be fitting for Hendry to get his official main roster callup at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’
With his undeniable charisma, entertaining character and underrated in-ring skills, Hendry is someone who could become a massive star for WWE following an official debut at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
7. Jacy Jayne
At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2026, Lola Vice defeated Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey to win the NXT Women’s Championship.
The Fatal Influence leader then lost her title rematch against Vice on the April 14 NXT Revenge special.
Over the past five years, Jayne has been showcased as a potential breakout star who has the experience that can excel on the next stage.
Jayne debuting at WrestleMania 42 would be a major stamp of approval, showing just how much WWE values her as a future main event talent on the main roster.
6. Ricky Saints
Among the top stars on the WWE NXT brand over the past year has been Ricky Saints.
The former NXT Champion immediately came in and garnered the spotlight as someone to watch.
Showing off his impressive mic skills and underrated in-ring ability, Saints has been discussed for a main roster callup in some capacity.
On a stage like WrestleMania 42, Saints feels like someone who could use a debut on ‘The Show of Shows’ as a catapult to the top of WWE moving forward.
5. El Hijo del Vikingo
Since WWE acquired Lucha Libre AAA ahead of WrestleMania 41, El Hijo del Vikingo has been standing head and shoulders above the rest as a face of the Mexican promotion.
The two-time AAA Mega Champion has been displayed as a top heel and still showcasing his spectacular high flying exploits.
On the April 11 episode of AAA on FOX, Vikingo came up just short in his bid to challenge Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Entering as a last minute entrant in the IC Title Ladder Match at WrestleMania 42, Vikingo could put on a sensational performance to grab attention and bring more eyes to the work he is doing over in Lucha Libre AAA.
4. Mike Santana
Over the past year, TNA’s Mike Santana has made several appearances on WWE programming.
Most recently, TNA World Champion Santana teamed with OTM to defeat DarkState in a trios match on the March 31 edition of WWE Raw.
With his excellent talking ability, identifiable character and amazing in-ring ability, Santana would shine bright on WWE TV if given the opportunity.
Considering his TNA contract is set to expire, Santana could make his main roster debut at WWE WrestleMania 42 and be featured in a similar fashion as Joe Hendry was last year as the TNA World Champion.
3. Sol Ruca
Out of all of the NXT stars who have been featured on WWE TV, Sol Ruca has been front and center as a representative of the Tuesday night show.
Whether it be her victory over Bayley on the December 13 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event or her standout performance in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, Ruca has been displayed as a must watch star who could stand out from the pack.
Ruca’s stunning in-ring exploits have caught the fans’ eyes in a huge way with her Sol Snatcher finisher becoming one of the best in the company today.
With her rivalry with Zaria coming to an end on the April 21 NXT Revenge Week 2 special, Sol Ruca seems poised to join the main roster full-time, which could start early at WrestleMania 42.
2. Blake Monroe
Since signing with WWE in June 2025, Blake Monroe has become one of the most consistently featured stars in the NXT women’s division.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has showcased her immense charisma and been at the forefront of NXT TV.
Recently, there have been reports circulating that Monroe has been discussed for a WWE main roster callup.
From showdowns with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia, Monroe is someone who checks every box to be among these top talents, especially with a debut at WrestleMania 42 in front of the crowd in Las Vegas.
1. Ethan Page
Another former AEW star who has made WWE their home since signing is Ethan Page.
In the past two years, Page has established himself as a top star on the NXT brand and regularly held championship gold.
Whether it be his reign as NXT Champion or the record-breaking run as NXT North American Champion, “All Ego” has showcased why he would be a ready made act for the main roster in short order.
Page debuting at WrestleMania 42 would show the world just how much the company sees him as a future top star for years to come.
