Following his official WWE retirement announcement two weeks ago, an update has emerged regarding one of Brock Lesnar’s potential next moves, away from pro wrestling.

On August 4, just three days after his Hell in a Cell defeat to Oba Femi at SummerSlam 2026 Night One, Brock Lesnar appeared on The Pat McAfee Show top confirm that he had wrestled his last match in WWE and pro wrestling as a whole.

In the Pat McAfee Show appearance, Lesnar also shut the door on potentially pursuing other forms of physical competition on a public stage – such as a UFC return or celebrity crossover fights –  but that hasn’t stopped speculation about his future.

One such avenue that could be viewed as a potential landing spot for Lesnar is Real American Freestyle –  a freestyle wrestling promotion co-founded by WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff in 2025.

Eric Bischoff – who serves as Real American Freestyle’s Chief Media Officer – appeared as a guest on The Game Plan to discuss the promotion’s RAF 12 event on August 22, as well as the possibility of Brock Lesnar potentially one day making his RAF debut.

Bischoff said:

“Anything’s possible… I don’t want to give the impression that I know Brock real well, I know Brock, we’re friendly, let’s put it that way, but it’s not like we call each other and chat, wish each other merry Christmas, stuff like that. But I know of Brock for obvious reasons.

“He’s a very unique individual. He’s a loner. He would just prefer to be on his farm, hunting, maybe fishing, or on his tractor plowing a field. That’s the highlight of his life. Spend time with his daughter – she’s on a mission to win an Olympic gold medal as a shot putter. He retired from WWE so he could focus on that, and knowing how much he doesn’t like the public, making public appearances – and it’s not that he doesn’t like people as much, he’s just not comfortable in that environment, and I get that.

“For that reason I would say probably not. But he’s also a former wrestler, and you know what that means? So there might be a chance. Because amateur wrestling, collegiate wrestling, was a big part of Brock’s life and a big part of the reason he was as successful as he was – whether it be in the NFL as a walk on for the Minnesota Vikings, or a UFC Champion, or a multi-time, multi-decade force of nature in WWE. It started with amateur wrestling.”

RAF has risen in popularity over the past year and featured prominent names from within the MMA and wrestling world such as: Colby Covington, Belal Muhammad, Khamzat Chimaev and former WWE star Gable Steveson.

Prior to his fight with Arman Tsarukyan at RAF 11, Colby Covington revealed he had held talks with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H regarding a potential transition to pro wrestling with the former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion saying a WWE switch is “a possibility.”

We will provide updates on Brock Lesnar’s future beyond WWE if any news becomes available.
