Will Ospreay has opened up about finding the “perfect person” in his wife and fellow AEW star, Alex Windsor.
Engaged in June of last year, Will Ospreay married Alex Windsor earlier this year, with the star now sharing an insight into what makes it all work for the couple.
Speaking on Will Ospreay’s Journey to AEW All In: London Episode 1, the star called their relationship “a blessing” before looking at the other side of being his wife, saying:
“To have someone like that by my side that loves me endlessly, and in return I love her, is such a blessing.
“I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve her cos, reality is, I’m proper thick. I am, like, proper stupid and she puts up with me.
“I just found the most perfect person to spend the rest of my life with.”

The video would also see Ospreay reveal that the costly neck surgery that he underwent was paid for by Tony Khan, promising his loyalty to the AEW owner as a result.
Not Bad For A Lad From London
Born in Havering, London, Will Ospreay has become as synonymous with England’s capital city as he is with his home of Essex.
A top star of the British independent wrestling scene before he would spread his wings to the international scene and NJPW in particular, Ospreay would find himself diagnosed with ADHD in his mid-20s, having left school with examination passes in just drama and PE. Ospreay has spoken about ADHD, dyslexia and autism in the past, sharing the upside of his conditions while talking about the aforementioned diagnosis.
It seemed that Ospreay was always destined for the wrestling world, making a name for himself across the scene and long before being signed by AEW, yet it could have gone any number of paths. Outspoken and forthright, Ospreay has previously found himself in many a Twitter feud with fans and fellow stars, something that he has since stated he regrets in past comments.
Where some would see him as “outspoken”, quite often his opinion came from loyalty towards his friends, peers and contemporaries. Having rubbed some people up the wrong way, Ospreay would comment that he’s attempted to mend fences while discussing the regrets of his past. The loyalty and support are still there, just delivered in a different and less public form.
When it comes to the concept that “people change”, there’s little doubt that Ospreay is one of those people. Looking back at his history, the star has risen up in the wrestling world, overcome injuries that could have brought careers to an end and rebuilt himself as a much more responsible star. The love he has found with Windsor has no doubt aided in making him a better person, and now may that last.
