Christian Cage and that damn turtleneck are back at it again on AEW Dynamite, this time with more uncouth commentary on a man’s deceased Father!
On tonight’s (July 13) AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage came out along with Luchasaurus to interrupt the Varsity Blonds, although we weren’t shown the entrance of Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. on the east coast TBS broadcast, rather they sort of were just there in the ring.
Christian Cage kicked off by saying he doesn’t like the Varsity Blonds before getting personal, extremely personal.
You can watch for yourself in the clip below but Cage tells Brian Pillman Jr., son the late Brian Pillman specifically:
“Here’s the thing Pillman – just like Jungle Boy, you had a Father but your Father was a legend in this business. ‘Legend’ are other people’s words, not mine, in my opinion, Brian Pillman, your Father, was average at best…. and I’m quite sure he wouldn’t mind me speaking on his behalf, saying he’d be appalled knowing that his final contribution to this business was you.”

Cage previously targeted Jungle Boy with a vicious attack after which he explained his actions in the most vile of ways, besmirching Jungle Boy’s deceased father, actor and Beverly Hills 90210 legend, Luke Perry.
Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, a big TNT Championship match between Orange Cassidy taking on champ, Wardlow, an announcement about the location of AEW All Out and a bloody battle between AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley and Konosuke Takeshita.
AEW Dynamite also saw the crowning of new AEW World Tag Team Champions and a savage promo from Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
