CM Punk Makes Surprise Appearance In Chicago

CM Punk Makes Surprise Appearance In Chicago AEW

Just when you thought you might not see CM Punk make a public appearance in Chicago after all, he surprised fans tonight.

Ahead of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks home opener, a surprise appearance by none other than Chicago’s own CM Punk.

After earlier reports that he was planning on attending the game (which he did) in lieu of being present at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound for Glory, Punk appeared in a vignette introducing the Blackhawks.

In the clip, Punk was shown in a signature Blackhawks jersey, touting the importance of the fans in the success of the team.

CM Punk continues to be a hot topic amongst fans as all eyes continue to anticipate where they may see him next.

The latest update on Punk to WWE was that Punk wanted to return but WWE decided against it for the time being.

However, with Survivor Series in Chicago next month, the rumors are likely not going to stop until it either does or doesn’t happen.

Also of note is Vince McMahon’s apparent loss of power, as he was said to be the one who’d made the call not to bring Punk back.

Either way, we’ll keep you posted on the latest.

In a related story, another CM Punk affiliated name reportedly is working at IMPACT Wrestling’s tapings this weekend in a tryout capacity as a producer – click here to read more about that.
