Drew McIntyre Reacts To Cody Rhodes Being Top WWE Merch Seller WWE

Drew McIntyre is behind Cody Rhodes as the WWE’s top T-shirt seller, with both ahead of CM Punk as of February 7, 2024.

With CM Punk sidelined with an injury that will see him miss WrestleMania 40, Drew McIntyre’s meme T-shirt has seen him in second place for merchandise sales according to Wrestle Ops.

In first place is Cody Rhodes, who has been the subject of a rolling “we want Cody” chant that saw The American Nightmare respond on social media.

Reacting to the top five merch sellers, Drew McIntyre sent a message to Cody (which can be seen below), posting:

“#WeWantCody… To make the right choice.

“They’re using their voices and wallets @CodyRhodes, give them what they want and what you promised.

“And Twitter, give your loved ones what they want. A meme on a shirt. Thank you.

“#WeWantDrew”

CM Punk took the third spot in the top T-shirt sellers, with Jey Uso coming fourth and The Rock rounding out the top five.

Despite setting up a possible feud between McIntyre and Punk upon his return, it has recently been reported that McIntyre hasn’t signed a new deal with WWE.

His current deal means that he would no longer be “under contract past April” 2024.

It had previously been reported that McIntyre hadn’t signed a new contract, with his current deal due to expire after WrestleMania.

With The Rock vs Roman Reigns teased to take place at WrestleMania 40, the pair will come face to face at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff event on February 8 in Las Vegas.

The Rock, who recently joined the TKO Board of Directors, promised the presser would be “talked about forever“.
