A huge WWE star has been training some more ahead of an expected return that fans have been waiting quite a while to see.
The have been rumours for a while, and more recently concrete reports, that Ronda Rousey is expected to be back on WWE TV in the not too distant future.
Now, former TNA World Champion James Storm has taken to Twitter to reveal that he has been training with Rousey and her husband Travis Browne.
Storm tweeted:
Big thanks to @rondarousey & @travisbrownemma for the invite to do a little wrestling around. I’ve met a lot of people that come from different sports but none besides @therealkurtangle that have the respect for pro wrestling like she does.
Storm was actually set to sign with WWE earlier this year around WrestleMania time, but the COVID-19 pandemic led to the deal falling through.
Rousey has been absent since WrestleMania 35 in April 2019. Her deal was set to expire on April 10, 2021, but, as Paul Heyman has pointed out, she may have re-signed for longer or extended that deal.
