John Cena has teased a major appearance for this weekend’s WWE WrestleMania 41 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Over the years, many iconic WWE names of the past have made surprise appearances at WrestleMania events, including John Cena’s surprise appearance during the main event of last year’s night two.
This year, Cena is set to main event night two himself, when he challenges Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship following his heel turn back at the Elimination Chamber.
With WWE icon Stone Cold Steve Austin living in Las Vegas, as well as being at WWE World today, and his match with Bret Hart set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame tonight, it has led to speculation that he could make a surprise appearance during this year’s main event to counteract The Rock, who may appear alongside John Cena after Cena sold his soul to the Great One.
Taking to Instagram, Cena shared a teaser for a potential cameo from Stone Cold, sharing a photo of Allegiant Stadium edited onto Austin’s body, with the caption ‘Stone Cold See You Sunday’.
Cena is set to make his final appearance ahead of the show on tonight’s SmackDown show.
