‘Yes Brock’s A Big Boy, Yes Oba’s A Big Boy, But I’m A Big Personality’ – Logan Paul ‘Looking Forward’ To Taking Number One Spot In WWE WWE

With his fifth WrestleMania match around the corner, Logan Paul has confidently claimed that he is “looking forward” to taking the number one spot in WWE.

This weekend’s WrestleMania 42 festivities will kick off with a six-man tag team match between Logan Paul, Austin Theory & IShowSpeed against the team of The Usos & LA Knight.

Paul’s WrestleMania record stands at a favorable three wins and one loss, and “The Maverick” is oozing confidence heading into Las Vegas.

During a live episode of his Impaulsive podcast in Vegas, special guest Stephen A. Smith spoke about how he wants to see Paul go for the World Heavyweight Championship.

In response, Paul name-dropped Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, acknowledging that they are both “big boys” but he in comparison is a “big personality,” “big wrestler” and “big everything.”

Paul said:

“When I’m in that ring, you’re gonna be watching the most entertaining match of the night. I am a showstopper. I steal the show. It is what I do, it is why I’m here.

“Yes Brock’s a big boy, yes Oba’s a big boy, but I’m a big personality, I’m a big wrestler, I’m a big everything. It’s not just what I can do inside the ring, it’s what I can do outside the ring. Even when I’m doing stuff outside the ring I’m inside the ring.

“I’m looking forward to becoming number one in WWE one day. Obviously everybody loves me and they’re very excited to see that happen.”

After weeks of back-and-forth, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will do battle for the first time one-on-one at WrestleMania 42, and like Logan Paul is opening Night One of “The Grandest Stage of Them All”, Femi and Lesnar are opening Night Two.

Will 2026 Be The Year Logan Paul Wins His First WWE World Championship?

In the years since Logan Paul first debuted in WWE at WrestleMania 38, it has felt more and more inevitable that the social media star would one day win a world championship.

While a celebrity winning a wrestling company’s world championship would typically be deemed unacceptable in the minds of fans, Paul doing so would be a far cry from David Arquette’s infamous WCW World Championship triumph back in 2000.

As unpopular as Paul is with much of the audience, he has proven himself to be a natural fit for pro wrestling and is genuinely one of, if not the most well known name WWE has on its roster.

Right now, Paul is taking up more of a background role in The Vision faction, so WWE are seemingly taking the longer road to get him to the point of winning it’s top prize, and few would argue that that isn’t the right approach.

Whether it happens in 2026 or another year, Logan Paul will hold either the Undisputed WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship.
