WWE
WWE WrestleMania 42 takes place this weekend with 13 matches in total and eight championships on the line.
Here are our predictions for the winner of every match at WrestleMania in Las Vegas.
Logan Paul, Austin Theory & IShowSpeed vs. The Usos & LA Knight
With the match that is set to kick off the weekend of major moments, there’s likely to be a viral moment in the first bout.
Since the match features both Logan Paul as well as popular online streamer IShowSpeed, it would make complete sense to see WrestleMania 42 kick off with a lot of blockbuster moments.
Bringing in even more celebrities to make their presence known in the match, the fun bout seems likely to be more on the side of enjoyable sports entertainment versus a display of technical wrestling prowess.
Particularly if Bron Breakker were to make a return in order to aide The Vision to capture victory, it could kick off an ongoing rivalry between the two warring trios that could face off in three weeks at WWE Backlash.
Winner: Logan Paul, Austin Theory & IShowSpeed
Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre (Unsanctioned Match)
Another example of sports entertainment magic of an entirely different kind is next up on Saturday with the second bout already confirmed to be Jacob Fatu taking on Drew McIntyre.
Given that the pair are facing off with the stipulation that it is an unsanctioned match, there are likely to be brutal and bloody moments to showcase an entirely different side of WWE to kick off WrestleMania 42.
With the culmination of their feud seemingly set to end in Las Vegas, it could be that Fatu is finally able to conquer McIntyre, leaving both to go their separate ways.
Since either could potentially shift brands in the aftermath of the event, it is difficult to call as McIntyre could certainly be fortified by a win or further driven to the dark side by a loss.
Winner: Jacob Fatu
WWE Women’s World Championship – Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan
After besting 29 other women to capture her first Royal Rumble victory, Liv Morgan elected to target Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship.
With their feud capturing attention for moments that were scripted, not scripted, and the beautifully ambiguous space between that makes professional wrestling special, it has been an intriguing road to WresetleMania 42.
Having been a strong and dedicated champion throughout her reign, it could be that Liv Morgan finally finds herself back on top in WWE after returning from injury.
Since Morgan hasn’t held a singles title since early 2025, it would seem that it is her time to shine as she potentially goes into a major new feud leading up to SummerSlam 2026 season.
Winner: Liv Morgan
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Nia Jax & Lash Legend (c) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. Brie & Nikki Bella
After capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Nia Jax and Lash Legend have made their domination known in the women’s division fending off numerous challenges.
Since there are several evolving stories still at play within the match including a potential break-up between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss – or Bayley and Lyra Valkyria for that matter – the match could end up serving several betrayals.
With the questions surrounding Nikki Bella’s status for the event still being teased as “too close to tell,” the idea of another heroic comeback story on top of the Bella Twins’ return to WrestleMania together would make for the perfect WrestleMania moment to go viral.
Although with reports surfacing that have former WWE star Paige potentially penciled in as Nikki’s replacement, it could be an entirely different duo that leave with the titles.
Winner: The Bella Twins (or Brie Bella & Paige)
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship – AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch
Set to go another round with one another, AJ Lee looks to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against challenger Becky Lynch.
After a series of interactions leading up to the big event, the intensity between the pair of veteran stars of different eras certainly has a big fight feel.
With AJ Lee already capturing the mixed tag team and singles bout victories over Becky Lynch at this point, it would make the most sense to see The Man claim a victory.
Another spot that could include the return of Paige to WWE, given her partnerships with both Lee and Lynch in the past, her allegiance could swing either way.
Winner: Becky Lynch
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
In one of the compelling non-title bouts that is on the card for WrestleMania 42, a returning Seth Rollins is set to take on GUNTHER.
While the feud has recently gotten even more intense, the in-ring competition is certain to be both thrilling and hard hitting.
Making his return from injury, Seth Rollins seems likely to pick up the victory, even if there is a failed interference attempt by a returning Bron Breakker or other Vision interloper.
Adding a layer of complexity to GUNTHER’s recently flawless win streak, Rollins could join the short list of WWE stars that have wins over The Ring General while the Career Killer can easily move on to his next target, vowing to circle back to Rollins down the road.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Undisputed WWE Championship – Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton
With the addition of Pat McAfee and some bumps along the way, Saturday night’s main event is still set to be an intriguing one.
Pitting two long-time friends against one another, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are set to wage war over the biggest prize on WWE SmackDown.
There certainly seems to be a missing piece in the ongoing feud between Rhodes and Orton over the Undisputed WWE Championship that could still unfold before the conclusion of the bout.
Despite coming at the expense of Rhodes’ second reign, a 15th World Championship win by Orton at WrestleMania 42 would likely yield a viral moment.
Winner: Randy Orton
WrestleMania 42 Sunday
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
In the match that is set to kick off the events on Sunday, Oba Femi will go up against The Beast, Brock Lesnar.
With Paul Heyman in tow, there could be some hijinks that lead to the competitive match ending up with a finish full of shenanigans.
Despite the overwhelming support for Oba Femi, there are reasons it would make sense to see Lesnar win, especially if his retirement match is coming up soon and WWE wants to keep him undefeated heading into that.
However, given the very strong build to their bout, WWE could always look to capitalize on the swell of support for popular new main roster star, Oba Femi.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match – Penta (c) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Rusev vs. Rey Mysterio
With Penta putting the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line in a big six-man ladder match, the odds are not in his favor.
While there are good reasons why any of the challengers could capture the title, one stands out as particularly intriguing moving forward.
With Rey Mysterio’s return to action factored into the bout, it could be that Mysterio picking up the win leads to a series of intriguing rivalries in the future.
Able to take on fellow veterans like Sheamus and Rusev alike to talent who have recently joined the main roster like Je’Von Evans or even future call-ups Ricky Saints or Ethan Page, there could be a lot of interesting opponents ahead.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
WWE Women’s Championship – Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley’s win in the Elimination Chamber means she challenges WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.
While a return from Bianca Belair after being out of action due to injury since last year’s WrestleMania 41 may still be off the table, the match might end up still having an element of interference from B-Fab and Michin in Cargill’s corner, with IYO SKY potentially coming out to even the odds for Ripley.
After failing to reclaim the top spot on WWE Raw, it would seem highly likely that Ripley will end up flipping brands after capturing the title.
Creating new opportunities for her to take on the likes of Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton and more on the blue brand, a title change makes a lot of sense.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
‘The Demon’ Finn Bálor vs. Dominik Mysterio
Another grudge match on the card for WrestleMania 42, the pair of Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio could steal the show in terms of both intensity and violence.
The culmination of a long friendship turned into a bitter rivalry after the Judgment Day ousted Balor from the group, this WrestleMania 42 match is sure to be a memorable one.
Unlikely to be resurrecting The Demon persona only to see him be vanquished, it seems as though Dirty Dom could finally get some comeuppance.
With the pair able to have a competitive and technically interesting match, there could always be a squash match in which The Demon takes down Dom with ease – it could go either way, but likely with Balor picking up the win.
Winner: Finn Balor
United States Championship – Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams
After having an emotionally charged in-ring interaction on the final SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania 42, WWE fans are looking forward to the United States Championship match on Sunday.
Likely a move to be able to give Trick Williams the major WrestleMania 42 victory without it coming at the expense of Carmelo Hayes, we’ll have to stay tuned to see if there are any interferences by Williams’ former NXT running buddy.
With Williams noting that Zayn took out Lil Yatchty with a Helluva Kick, it could be that the occasion calls for Trick to call in support from Melo.
Able to be a star making moment for Williams, the loss could fully cement Sami Zayn’s character turning heel, enabling him to take his crashing out to new heights and possibly even switching brands to WWE Raw.
Winner: Trick Williams
World Heavyweight Championship – CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
In the marquee event of the weekend, there will certainly be a hard fought battle between Roman Reigns and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk.
With Reigns seemingly making his presence and influence in the mainstream media known on the road to WrestleMania 42, it would make a lot of sense to see him pick up the victory.
Able to utilize help from any member of the Bloodline, The Rock or even a new arrival to get an advantage, in the end Reigns could still end up technically winning with a clean pin of Punk.
Seemingly set to go to war again in the future, it might be a win for Reigns now sets up the perfect next battle in three weeks at WWE Backlash in Tampa, Florida.
Winner: Roman Reigns
