Bron Breakker Status Update Amid WWE Injury Absence WWE

A WWE star has shared an update on Bron Breakker’s status amid his ongoing absence from in-ring competition.

It has now been almost two months since Bron Breakker was last seen on WWE TV, with The Vision member sidelined due to suffering a hernia that required emergency surgery.

With his return status ahead of next month’s WrestleMania 42 still unclear, WWE NXT’s Tony D’Angelo shared a positive update on Breakker’s wellbeing during a new interview with TMZ’s Inside the Ring.

D’Angelo said:

“He’s doing good I’ll say that. He’s Bron, he’s a machine.

“When he’s ready I’m sure he’s gonna jump right back into it and split people in half just like he does.”

D’Angelo Opens Up About Friendship With Bron Breakker

Tony D’Angelo and Bron Breakker debuted in WWE within three weeks of one another almost five years ago, with Breakker’s first NXT match coming on September 14, 2021 and D’Angelo’s being on October 5.

Along with the likes of Carmelo Hayes, D’Angelo and Breakker were key parts of NXT’s 2.0. refresh, but have remained friends since their time alongside each other in the WWE Performance Center.

Opening up about he and Breakker’s friendship, D’Angelo said that they “clicked” from the first day they met each other:

“As far as our friendship and everything, it’s funny we kind of clicked from day one. We have a lot of similar interests, we had a pretty similar upbringing. It was pretty easy, I felt like I knew the guy my entire life as soon as I met him.

“That’s also another guy in my corner who feeds me positive energy and points me in the right direction. He’s a great dude, a great friend, I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s killing it in his own right, so he’ll be alright.”

Tony D’Angelo Finally Set To Be The Face Of NXT?

While much of his peers from the 2.0. era have since left NXT behind for the main roster, D’Angelo has remained, with the NXT Championship still alluding him.

Being the only prize he’s yet to win in NXT, D’Angelo will get the opportunity to cap off his journey on the brand this Saturday at Stand & Deliver 2026, when he, along with Ethan Page and Ricky Saints challenge Joe Hendry for the NXT Championship in a four-way.

With a more grounded character that could translate better to the main roster when the time comes for a call-up, D’Angelo is more than ready to be given the ball in NXT.

“The Don” winning the NXT Title could also potentially free up at least one of the other three men involved in the four-way to make their way up to Raw or SmackDown.

Ethan Page in particular has felt long overdue for a shot on the main roster, and fans could potentially see “All Ego” make the jump to the red or blue brand after WrestleMania 42.
