New WWE Star Set For Big Push Added To Roster

A new WWE star who is expected to receive a big push in the company has now been added to the official roster after making his in-ring debut.

A few weeks ago on NXT TV, Zilla Fatu made his debut appearance after making headlines on the indies for the past couple of years.

Fatu is a member of the Anoa’i family Bloodline as the son of legendary former Intercontinental Champion Umaga.

Last night’s WWE NXT Heatwave premium live event on the CW Network played host to Fatu’s official WWE in-ring debut, as he faced NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana in a four-way match for D’Angelo’s title.

It was Waller who picked up the win, becoming NXT Champion for the first time in the process.

Following that match, WWE has now added Zilla Fatu to the roster page on its official website, with his bio alluding to his family lineage:

Being a member of one of the most storied families in wrestling history is both a burden and a blessing, and Zilla Fatu is determined to make you remember his first name more than his last. 

Cousin of Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Roman Reigns and many more, Fatu is continuing the family tradition of wrecking shop in WWE regardless of who’s in front of him.

The son of legendary WWE Superstar Umaga, Zilla is one of the most controversial members of the storied Anoa’i/Fatu dynasty, and he’s equally comfortable throwing insults as he is throwing hands. 

Remember the name Zilla Fatu, because he is The Main One when it comes to putting on a show.

Zilla Fatu To The WWE Main Roster Soon

While Zilla Fatu has only just joined NXT, it’s very much expected that it won’t be too long before he’s moved up to the WWE main roster – in large part due to the Bloodline.

Recent reports have indicated it may only be a few months before Fatu finds himself on Raw and/or SmackDown, which would certainly be considered a fast track when the likes of Tony D’Angelo have spent over five years in the system.

It’s clear to see why too, as Fatu has immediately shone in NXT with his charisma and personality that vastly outshines the majority of names on the roster at the moment.

The only cause for concern would be making sure his in-ring work is up to scratch before moving him up too fast, but if he can prove himself in that area, there’s no reason to hold him back.
