NJPW x NOAH Announced For Wrestle Kingdom 17 Night 2

NJPW x NOAH Announced For Wrestle Kingdom 17 Night 2 NJPW/Pro Wrestling NOAH

It’s easy to forget that, after the epic events of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 7 on January 4, it’s actually a two-day event.

The first night of the show, which saw Kenny Omega win the IWGP United States Championship from Will Ospreay took place at the Tokyo Dome.

The second night will take place on January 21 2023 at Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.

It was also recently announced that Pro Wrestling NOAH will be running a joint show with New Japan Pro-Wrestling on the same day.

Both companies announced the news and that there would be a press conference on January 6 to announce the full card.

This announcement comes after members of NOAH’s KONGOH stable (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Tadasuke, Hajime Ohara, and Hi69) confronted Los Ingobernables de Japon following their loss at the show to Keiji Mutoh, Shota Umino, and Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Wrestle Kingdom 16 in 2022 was a three-day event co-produced by NJPW and NOAH.

Night Three also featured, amongst other matches, Los Ingobernables de Japon facing off against KONGOH.
