Praise For WWE Tag Team Following Raw 30 Segment WWE

The members of DX have taken to Twitter to chat about their segment with Imperium on the Raw 30th Anniversary show this past Monday.

GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci interrupted DX’s antics and I’m pretty sure just about everyone held their breath and thought: “Oh no, please don’t Revival them”.

Fortunately, they didn’t, and – with the help of some actual good comedy – we transitioned into seeing Imperium vs Seth Rollins and the Street Profits instead.

Before Imperium came out, the comedy was already in full swing with Kurt Angle becoming an honorary DX member for the night in the absence of Billy Gunn.

Sean Waltman/X-Pac has now taken to Twitter to give his comments on what it was like to actually be involved, writing:

“Putting that segment together was one of the funnest times I’ve had in forever.”

In reference the aforementioned Revival-based concern, he then jokingly tweeted:

“The only thing that sucked was not being able to hit our finishes on the guys who have to draw money after we’re gone.”

Responding to a reply on that tweet, Waltman said he “would have been happy” to take a finisher from Imperium and “pass the torch”.

Road Dogg, WWE’s current Senior Vice President of Live Events, also commented on the segment and Imperium, as he replied to a tweet saying that Ludwig Kaiser is underrated by writing:

“Not to those who know. All three are superstars no doubt”

It says a lot that DX would choose Imperium to share the ring with and specifically NOT bury them, so let’s once again be thankful that Vince hasn’t ruined things for GUNTHER and his pals like he was reportedly planning to a few months ago.

Yet.
