Tyler Bateman has reportedly signed to Ring of Honor, according to PWInsider. Bateman wrestled on the Death Before Dishonor Fallout Show in an Honor Club Exclusive match.
Bateman has been a fixture the California Independent scene for quite some time. He has wrestled for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, PWG, and Bar Wrestling.
He’s been someone major companies have been looking at closely. He’s recently had tryouts for Impact Wrestling and WWE. He even spent time in the NJPW LA Dojo in 2018.
Bateman has been a partner of Brody King in the past as part of Violence Unlimited. Some have compared him to Marty Scurll.

With Scurll potentially leaving ROH next month, could this be a signing to help offset his potential departure? Bateman, not only defeated Jake Atlas on Death Before Dishonor Fallout, he also attacked LifeBlood’s Tracy Williams.
LifeBlood and Villain Enterprises have been battling each other for months. Could Bateman be inline to join the Villain’s faction?
Or is he just out to make a name for himself in the singles division. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk for further developments in this story.
