A WWE NXT star has commented ahead of his return to the ring, having recently been out of action due to a head injury.

Shiloh Hill announced following his match against Tristan Angels on the July 28 NXT episode that he had suffered a fracture to a part of his skull called the maxilla.

With Hill recently sharing the update that he could be back in the ring sooner than doctors initially expected, WWE recently confirmed the star’s return to the ring for the August 18 NXT episode.

Ahead of facing Jackson Drake in singles action, Shiloh Hill shared a video on Twitter, during which he exclaimed:

“We are so back, I’m so excited. For those of you who don’t know, a couple of weeks ago, I broke a bone in my face, and I wasn’t allowed to wrestle for a little bit.

“But it actually healed up pretty fast, and now I’ve got my first match back on TV tomorrow.

Discussing his upcoming opponent, Hill continued:

“I’m wrestling a guy named Jackson Drake. If you don’t know Jackson, basically it’s like of all the worst frat people you knew got together, and they created a baby and then raised it immersed in frat culture its whole life, and just created the worst person ever, but then also unfortunately, it just happened to become one of the best wrestlers in the world.

“But what better way to celebrate being back than by stopping a super frat baby from getting a North American Title shot? I will see you guys soon.”
