Top Champion Teases Cross Promotional Match With Saraya?

A top champion has teased a cross promotional match with AEW Women’s Champion Saraya.

Over the past few years, wrestling fans have been able to see many top stars from one promotion do battle with stars from another promotion quite often.

Whether its Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada vs. Bryan Danielson or Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Great Muta, the sight of two top stars from different companies facing off is always tantalizing.

In April, former WWE star Trinity Fatu, also known as Naomi, signed with IMPACT Wrestling. She quickly went on to defeat Deonna Purrazzo to win the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary.

On September 11, Trinity took to social media to call out current AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya. She wrote:

Be careful what you ask for the glow hits different this era #trinpact #IMPACT1000

This comes after Saraya stated that she wanted a title vs title match with Trinity, stating that she’d take the IMPACT Knockouts Championship. ƒsaraya

Trinity and Saraya spent several years together in WWE and were also featured on the Total Divas reality series at the same time as well.

Saraya is set to make her first defense of the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Grand Slam against the winner of Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose vs. Toni Storm on this Wednesday’s September 13 episode of AEW Dynamite.
