Vince McMahon’s Status For WWE SummerSlam 2023 Revealed

The status of Vince McMahon for tonight’s SummerSlam event in Detroit has been revealed.

Since he returned to the company back in January, Vince McMahon has been backstage at a handful of big WWE shows, including both nights of WrestleMania 39.

Last week, it was reported that McMahon had undergone spinal surgery, with the company declaring him on medical leave until further notice.

Per PWInsider, Vince McMahon is not scheduled to be present at tonight’s SummerSlam event at Ford Field in Detroit.

While the idea of McMahon travelling after his recent ‘life altering’ surgery may sound insane, this is Vince McMahon we are talking about, and there were even reportedly some in the company that expected him to show up in Detroit.

The opening match of the show will see Logan Paul take on Ricochet, with the two men reportedly taking part in a ‘dual training’ ahead of the show.
