VIDEO: What Happened Between CM Punk & Toronto Fans After Collision Went Off The Air AEW

Find out what happened between CM Punk and the AEW live crowd in Toronto after AEW Collision went off the air tonight (June 24).

After CM Punk received a mixture of cheers and boos from the Toronto crowd for tonight’s AEW Collision taping, find out what he had to say to the live crowd after the show went off the air.

Thankfully with podcaster Kate Elizabeth in attendance at Collision, she shared video of what everyone at home missed after the show went off the air so you don’t have to wonder, you can hear it for yourself!

With moments on the mic from Dax Harwood, Ricky Starks and CM Punk were all notable for different reasons and worth the watch however, fans continued to have a bit of a mixed reaction to CMFTR but were squarely behind one part of the group.

Everyone loved Ricky Starks!

With even Starks noting, “no offense,” but he was glad that the crowd liked him, he would continue to fight for those for the fans that believe in him.

Dax Harwood asked the hot Toronto crowd, “Man wow, y’all feel some type of way tonight huh?” which was met with a bit of boos.

However as Harwood continued to chat to the crowd, reflecting on the November 2016 match 2 out of 3 falls match that changed the trajectory of the future FTR’s entire careers.

The part that was left unsaid was that Dax was referring to the 2016 NXT Takeover: Toronto where the Revival’s two out of three falls match against DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) where they may have lost in the end, but cemented their place as stars nonetheless.

By the time it was CM Punk’s turn on the mic, he did allow for a hearty pause for the crowd to cheer or boo, whichever they preferred, before noting that as team captain of CMFTRicky, he took responsibility for the loss tonight on Collision.

But even though he loses sometimes, he will keep on coming back and fighting… just like their Toronto Maple Leafs!

With a fascinating crowd reaction as well as general presentation from CM Punk tonight, could speculation that he’s headed for a heel turn be coming to fruition outside of Chicago?

Earlier on AEW Collision, an announcement about the mystery partner was revealed to be NJPW legend, Tetsuya Naito! Click here to read more about how the reveal happened.

Also, AEW Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman appeared for the first time on AEW Collision in a pre-taped segment, telling Hiroshi Tanahashi that their match on the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view main card would go on first.

It was announced that MJF would be making his in-ring debut on AEW Collision next week, much to the champ’s chagrin.

You can click here to read the entire card for Sunday, June 25 pay-per-view, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023.
