Heavyweight Champion In Another Promotion Calls For Match Against WWE Star WWE

A heavyweight champion in another company has called for a rematch against a WWE star, following the anniversary of their first in-ring encounter.

The March 5, 2025 edition of WWE Speed saw a crossover match of sorts take place, with WWE’s Ivar defeating Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura during Inamura’s excursion.

One year later, Inamura has reflected on this match on Twitter, and stated that he wants to step in the ring with Ivar again.

The current GHC Heavyweight Champion wrote:

1 year ago… Time really flies…

I want to fight you again!!! @Ivar_WWE

Ivar has also expressed interest in a potential rematch, responding:

Ivar also re-shared a post from a Twitter user who pitched for the War Raiders to be sent to NOAH.

Yoshiki Inamura’s overseas excursion saw him wrestle for WWE from November 2024 to August 2025, with his most recent bout for the company seeing him lose to Josh Briggs in a Philadelphia Street Fight on NXT.

He went on to win the GHC Heavyweight Championship from KENTA at NOAH Star Navigation in November 2025.
