The semi-final lineups for the WWE King & Queen of the Ring tournaments have been confirmed following tonight’s June 16 episode of Raw.
Tonight’s Raw hosted the last quarter-final four-ways in both the men’s and women’s tournaments, rounding out the fields for the semi-finals.
Ahead of tonight, the Queen of the Ring semi-final of Jade Cargill vs Roxanne Perez had already been confirmed, with Alexa Bliss set for the other semi-final.
Bliss’ opponent was confirmed in tonight’s opening match, as the returning Asuka scored the win against Raquel Rodriguez, Stephanie Vaquer and Ivy Nile.
As for the men, the first semi-final already confirmed was Sami Zayn vs Randy Orton, with Cody Rhodes’ opponent in his semi final decided tonight.
It was Jey Uso who scored the win to advance to the semi-finals, as he defeated Bronson Reed, Sheamus and Rusev after LA Knight appeared and cost Reed the match.
That means the finals at WWE Night of Champions on June 28 will be Cargill or Perez vs Bliss or Asuka, and Zayn or Orton vs Rhodes or Uso.
Like last year, the ultimate winners of the tournaments will earn a world championship match at SummerSlam on August 2/3.
