A WWE star has reflected on the opportunity to train with a legendary star and former United States Champion.

Brooks Jensen signed with WWE in August 2021, with the son of Bull Buchanan going on to make his in-ring debut on NXT 2.0 the following month.

A recent comment on Twitter showcased the skill of Fit Finlay during his time as a WWE star, with Jensen responding to highlight the legend’s work as a trainer in the Performance Center, stating:

“Training with Fit Finlay in the PC has been the most valuable moments in my wrestling career #WWENXT”

Finlay has served as a backstage producer in WWE since 2012, having served that role prior to his release in March the previous year.

Furloughed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Finlay would return in November of that year as a trainer and assistant coach at the WWE Performance Center.

He is the father of NXT’s Uriah Connors and David Finlay, who recently parted ways with NJPW, with the WWE name recently sharing a message to his free agent son amid reported WWE interest.

A former WWE United States Champion, Fit Finlay also held the WCW World Television Championship, retiring from in-ring competition in December 2012.
