Cesaro and Sheamus, the Bar, have been missing from SmackDown Live in the last few weeks and their absence is a topic of conversation among wrestling’s faithful. Now the mystery has been solved. The Swiss and Irish natives have returned to their countries to sort visa issues.
The former WWE Raw Tag Team Champions follow in the footsteps of new recruits Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja, who are unable to join the Performance Centre at present due to visa issues of their own.
The Bar last competed on the blue brand in a Dark Match on June 26 losing to Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The final time they competed together before the difficulties was on a July 1 SmackDown Live house show in Taipei, Taiwan, falling to the New Day.
While it’s unclear how long the pair will be absent from the squared circle, they are widely expected to return before the beginning of August.
Tell us what you think of the Bar’s recent disruption, where they fit in upon their return, and whether or not Sheamus and Cesaro have a future together. Maybe you’d prefer to see them go it alone? Come and join the WrestleTalk family on Twitter and Discord now.
