Did Seth Rollins Drop A Pipe Bomb On Raw?
If you saw Raw, you know that I’m talking about the first segment on Monday that started with the beginning of Rollins’ music on a crazy loop and ended with Baron Corbin being blamed for Raw‘s ills. WWE let Rollins serve as a stand-in for all of us, talking about the abysmal quality of Monday Night Raw. Corbin stood in for McMahon and WWE brass. I give them a great deal of credit for a self-awareness that we haven’t seen from them in a while.
I don’t know if it’s fair to call this a pipe bomb, though. A meta-reference, for sure but I didn’t feel for one second like he wasn’t saying exactly what he was told to say, whereas when C.M. Punk dropped his pipebomb it blurred a line. This is a different thing.
