On Thursday next week, WWE will be in Saudi Arabia for their Crown Jewel pay-per-view event, the second show in the country this year.
One of the marquee matches on the show is a ten-man tag team match between five men selected by Hulk Hogan, and five led by two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
Many people were confused when the match was announced as it seems odd to have a five-on-five elimination tag match the month before WWE holds its Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
However, Dave Meltzer is reporting in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the current plan is for the match to not be fought under elimination rules. This means that the match only needs one pinfall/submission to be over.
There was slight confusion online about the exact rules of the match, but Dave Meltzer has provided some clarification of WWE’s plans right now
However, based off Hell In A Cell, WWE could have the match ended with some ridiculously complicated finish. Who knows at this point?
