Reports of two IMPACT Wrestling stars getting into a fight backstage at recent TV tapings while planning a match have emerged.
Fightful Select reports that Sami Callihan and Michael Elgin had a physical altercation after disagreeing on the start to a match, with the match also involving Ken Shamrock.
It was said that the promotion’s co-executive vice president Scott D’Amore had to step in to break up the altercation.
Michael Elgin has today been removed from IMPACT Wrestling after being suspended a few days ago following allegations made against him during the #Speaking Out movement.
It’s been a tough couple of days for IMPACT, as the promotion also fired World Champion Tessa Blanchard yesterday and stripped her of the title.
Both Blanchard and Elgin were set for a five-way main event at the July 18 Slammiversary show for the World Title, but that match has now been removed from the promotion’s website event page. The other three that were set to be involved in the match were Eddie Edwards, Ace Austin and Trey Miguel.
