Rumours continue to circle that ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will take part in his first wrestling match in 19 years at this year’s WrestleMania show, with him reportedly set for a clash with Kevin Owens.
The match may be all but confirmed, per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the match is currently ‘on the card’ for WrestleMania.
He said:
“There’s nothing really new. Austin/Owens is on the card. I don’t know which night he’s gonna wrestle but that is the plan, and they pretty much started the feud on Raw.”
Meltzer also noted that WWE is planning one more ‘Austin-level’ surprise for the event at AT&T Stadium in April.
