Slammiversary is one of the biggest events on the IMPACT Wrestling Calendar, and it appears as though the company are set for a big homecoming this year.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that IMPACT Slammiversary and a set of tapings are scheduled to take place on June 19 and 20 in Nashville. Fightul notes that the location and date are set to be announced ‘imminently’.
IMPACT Wrestling first began back in 2002, which makes this their 20th anniversary, to the date, on June 19. No specific plans for the show have been mentioned as of yet.
Last year’s Slammiversary ended with Kenny Omega defending his IMPACT World Championship against Sami Callihan, before Jay White walked through the Forbidden Door to confront Omega.
