A unified ROH Women’s Champion has been crowned on tonight’s episode of All Elite Wrestling’s AEW Dynamite.
The ROH Women’s championship founds itself at a crossroads on tonight’s (May 4) AEW Dynamite, with the future of the Championship resting on a match between the ROH Women’s Champion Deonna Purrazzo and the Interim ROH Women’s Champion, Mercedes Martinez.
In the end, it was Martinez who emerged victoriously from the main event bout which saw Purrazzo tap out to Martinez for the decisive victory.
As previously reported, Tony Khan’s acquisition of Ring of Honor was finalized today as he continues to chart the future of ROH on the back of the success of the most recent pay-per-view event, ROH Supercard of Honor.
Another IMPACT Wrestling star featured on tonight’s episode of Dynamite with W.Morrissey, formerly known in WWE as Big Cass made his AEW Debut against Wardlow after being called by MJF.
Morrissey lost in his debut effort after taking a monstrous powerbomb from Wardlow who got the pinfall victory and then went on to assault an untold number of security guards that were sent after him by MJF.
