Has the location for the big AEW pay-per-view, AEW Revolution been revealed? Find out what city may have AEW fans descend upon it soon!
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the tentative location for AEW’s major annual pay-per-view, AEW Revolution 2023 has been determined.
And no, it is NOT in Chicago; rather, somewhere entirely new for an AEW pay-per-view. According to the report, AEW Revolution is currently slated to take place at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, Calfiornia.
The firsts continue for AEW as dates on the West Coast continue to emerge including the first AEW Dynamite of 2023 coming from a very big city.
With the January 4, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite marking AEW’s first trip to Seattle, it is sure to be raucous with the hometown returns of Swerve Strickland, Darby Allin, Aubrey Edwards and the American Dragon, Bryan Danielson.
Tony Khan has previously commented on a more conservative touring schedule representing not only an opportunity for talent to have more work/life balance with typically limited travel during the week but also in order to maximize target markets in the vein of previous territory days of wrestling.
In the lead up to AEW All Out, Khan likened himself to Jim Crockett Promotions however even before the now infamous AEW All Out scrum, Khan was quick to delineate himself from the former promotion.
