Last night’s episode of WWE Raw aired live from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the show had a stacked line up of announced matches heading into the show.
Five matches were announced for the show, all of which were exciting to fans. Those matches were Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair vs Women’s Tag Team Champion IYO SKY, Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano vs Alpha Academy, AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle vs Damian Priest.
Ever since the change in WWE regime, matches have generally been given a lot more time, and less non-finishes, which has led to fans being more excited for matches announced for TV.
The matches were all given plenty of time, and that has led to the show being highly regarded by fans of Cagematch.net. The show, as of writing, is currently rated at a 9.01 on the site, following 73 valid votes.
While of course the ratings could change as more fans vote on the site, this makes the show from last night the highest rated episode of Raw in over 6 years, since the very first show after the Draft back in 2016, which sits at a 9.23.
