WWE has announced an injury to a popular star occurred during tonight’s edition (October 21) of SmackDown on FOX.
After SmackDown went off the air, WWE announced an injury sustained by Sheamus after a vicious post-match attack by The Bloodline.
Writing on social media, WWE announced:
“BREAKING: Due to the attack earlier tonight by #TheBloodline, @WWESheamus has a non-displaced fracture near his elbow and is still under observation.
#SmackDown”
After a post-match angle saw the Bloodline pin the Brawling Brutes (Butch and Ridge Holland) underneath the announcer’s desk, the Celtic Warrior was vulnerable to a massive 4 on 1 attack.
The Bloodline took advantage and used both chairs and the steel steps to their advantage when targeting the arm and shoulder area of Sheamus which was apparently successful given the medical report issued by WWE.
Elsewhere on the show, SmackDown kicked off with a banger between the Brawling Brutes and the Bloodline, a member of the women’s division continued their apparent transition into masochism and we heard from Bray Wyatt.
Also the creepy QR code mysteries continued, this time with a psych eval and an 855 number to call!
