A former WWE champion looks set to return to TV for the first time in several months after being listed for upcoming WWE events.
According to WWE’s listings for the November 24, December 8 and December 15 edition’s of Friday Night SmackDown, the Celtic Warrior Sheamus will be making his return.
Sheamus has been off WWE TV since wrestling Adam Copeland (Edge) in his final WWE match on August 18.
While there has not been an official word on Sheamus’ absence by WWE, it has been reported that the Irishman has been out with a shoulder injury.
The injury was described as ‘really bad’ by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, leaving many to fear that Sheamus could be out long-term, however, if this listing proves correct we will thankfully see the four-time world champion return.
Given the timing of his first return listing on November 24 it is also possible that Sheamus could return for a role at Survivor Series on November 25.
Stay tuned to WrestleTalk for any updates on Sheamus’ return as and when they are available.
We’d like to continue to wish Sheamus the best in his ongoing recovery.
