Bryan Danielson has named who he would add to AEW’s Blackpool Combat Club.
In early 2022, William Regal arrived in All Elite Wrestling and aligned his feuding proteges of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley to form the Blackpool Combat Club.
Since then, the group has underwent several changes with Regal’s betrayal of Moxley and subsequent departure from the company as well as the additions of Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli.
The one consistent element for the BCC has been them being one of, if not, the most prominent faction in AEW today.
Speaking with DAZN, Bryan Danielson was asked who he would add to the Blackpool Combat Club if he could. He answered:
“Anthony Ogogo,”
“That’s a really interesting fit with his boxing background and he’s as tough as nails.”
“Another interesting one is Hook. He’s got beef with Wheeler Yuta right now but sometimes those beefs lead to respect.”
Despite not being seen on AEW TV since 2021, Anthony Ogogo has started to work dark matches ahead of AEW Collision and recently been involved with RevPro.
Meanwhile, Bryan Danielson is set to face Andrade El Idolo in the Blue League of the AEW Continental Classic tournament on this Saturday’s December 9 edition of AEW Collision.
