9. Elias
Elias might not be the smoothest worker in the ring, but what he does better than most other performers on the roster is getting the crowd to boo him. By proxy, this means that the fans are automatically behind whoever Elias is feuding with, and this would be a great way to introduce Harper as a babyface singles star.
If rumours are true and Dean Ambrose is actually leaving WWE, the company has a lack of babyfaces, Harper could be the man to fill that void. Elias is the headlining musical act at WrestleMania 35, and we all know someone is bound to interrupt him, it’s a question of who not if at this point.
Having Harper be the guy to interrupt Elias on a given episode of Raw would be a cool way to reintroduce him, but having him interrupt Elias’ performance on the “grandest stage of them all” would the most impactful. Seeing Harper stand tall over a prone Elias at WrestleMania 35 would but Harper over as a top babyface in a big way. He could feud with the musician for a month or so, establishing himself as a proper talent, before moving on to bigger and better opponents.
