This Saturday, May 30, WWE AAA will present their next special event with the Noche de Los Grandes 2026 event.

This show will feature championship bouts, grudge matches and one of the biggest main events in recent AAA history with one El Grande Americano losing their mask.

Ahead of this Saturday’s huge show, there could be some changes made to the card with this two-week event holding plenty of ramifications on the promotion moving forward.

Here are six potential changes to WWE AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026.

6. If Bayley, Lola Vice & La Catalina Wins vs. Los Toxicas, La Catalina Gets A Shot At Flammer’s AAA Reina de Reinas Championship

On the April 11 edition of AAA on FOX, La Catalina made her debut with the company and confronted AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer.

Taking the fight to Flammer and Los Toxicas, Catalina showed that she was not willing to back down from anyone right from the start of her run in AAA.

However, the numbers of Los Toxicas did get the better of Catalina following her in-ring debut, which led to the newest AAA star getting some backup in the form of NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice and Bayley.

With a huge six-woman tag team match scheduled for Noche de Los Grandes 2026, the company could up the ante for this bout by adding a stipulation that if Catalina’s team gets the victory, she can get her opportunity at the AAA Reina de Reinas Title.

5. Team Europe vs. Team Puerto Rico Added To The Card

Earlier this year, Lucha Libre AAA introduced an international trios match series where stars from different countries and continents came together to team and face off with one another.

On the April 4 edition of AAA on FOX, Team Europe, represented by Axiom, Dorian Van Dux and Elio LeFleur, defeated Team UK’s Nathan Frazer, Charlie Dempsey and Tristan Angels.

Elsewhere in the same episode, Team Puerto Rico’s El Mesias, Lince Dorado and Mecha Wolf beat Team Japan of KENTO, Nobu San and TAKUMA.

While Team Europe will have to find a replacement for the recently injured LeFleur, fans could see the two teams that won last month facing off with one another in the return of the international trios match series.

4. Psycho Clown & Pagano vs. The War Raiders For AAA World Tag Team Titles Becomes A Carnival of Carnage Match

At the Rey de Reyes Week 2 show, Psycho Clown and Pagano vs. The War Raiders for the AAA World Tag Team Championships went to a no contest when all hell broke loose.

Over the past few months, these two duos have been at each other’s throats and fighting anytime they are near each other.

However, Psycho and Pagano have also been going through their own issues within their tandem thanks to the recent attacks on the Psycho Circus stable.

In their signature match, Psycho Clown and Pagano could battle The War Raiders in a Carnival of Carnage to finally settle the score between these two pairings with the AAA World Tag Team Championships on the line.

3. Everyone Banned From Ringside For El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. El Hijo del Vikingo For AAA Latin American Championship

Over the past few months, El Hijo del Vikingo has been unable to get the job done in championship matches.

This started when he lost to Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Title at Rey de Reyes Week 1 and was forced to never get another shot as long as “Dirty Dom” was champion.

Then, Vikingo came up short against Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Looking to get his client back on track, Dorian Roldan got Vikingo a shot at El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.’s AAA Latin American Title at Noche de Los Grandes.

Knowing his history of using help from El Ojo, Dr. Wagner III should get a stipulation for everyone to be banned from ringside for this title bout with Vikingo.

2. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix For AAA Cruiserweight Championship Gets Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Stipulation

On the May 16 episode of AAA on FOX, Rey Fenix defeated Laredo Kid in a non-title match.

Then on the May 23 AAA on FOX, Laredo was able to get a measure of revenge by retaining the AAA Cruiserweight Championship against Fenix.

Thanks to winning with a low blow, AAA GM Rey Mysterio announced that Fenix will get a rematch for the gold at Noche de Los Grandes 2026.

Wanting to determine who is the better man between these two luchadors, Mysterio could add a two-out-of-three-falls stipulation for this AAA Cruiserweight Championship rematch.

1. The El Grande Americano Who Wins Mask vs. Mask Match Gets Rey de Reyes Sword & A Shot At Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship

WWE AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026 will be headlined by El Grande Americano vs. “Original” El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask Match.

Looking to determine once and for all who the real El Grande Americano truly is, this is easily one of the most anticipated bouts in recent memory for Lucha Libre AAA.

WWE and AAA should look to raise stakes for this El Grande showdown in any way they can, including putting everything on the line.

After his win earlier this year, El Grande currently owns the Rey de Reyes sword and a shot at the AAA Mega Championship, so there should be everything on the line in this main event to see who walks away with as the one and only El Grande Americano.
