6 Debuts At AEW Redemption 2026

AEW Redemption 2026 will have another stacked card for the fans in Montreal, but the show could offer some highly anticipated debuts as well.

Over the course of 2026 so far, All Elite Wrestling has added a number of the top free agents in the industry and helped to add even more depth to their roster.

Now with one more pay-per-view remaining before AEW All In London 2026, Redemption feels like the right spot to bring in some free agent signings to make their debut.

Here are six potential debuts at AEW Redemption 2026.

6. Steve Maclin

After signing with TNA Wrestling in 2021, it did not take Steve Maclin long to establish himself as a main event level talent.

Rising the ranks, Maclin would go on to become the TNA World Champion and the first ever TNA International Champion as well.

With everything he accomplished over the past five years in TNA, Maclin chose to request and was granted his release from the company.

Confirming he has been in contact with Tony Khan, Maclin could step into All Elite Wrestling and make his official debut in Montreal at AEW Redemption 2026.

5. Zoey Serrano (Zoey Stark)

On April 24, WWE had its latest round of mass talent cuts and released over 24 wrestlers from the roster.

There were several names that were surprising from this list, but Zoey Stark was one that some fans believed was wrong due to her recovering from injury.

Now well on the path to stepping back in the ring, All Elite Wrestling could look to bring in Stark to give her a chance in a new promotion.

Stark, now known as Zoey Serrano, could further bolster the AEW women’s division in a significant way at Redemption 2026.

4. Kay Lee Ray

Since being released from WWE in April, Alba Fyre, now known as Kay Lee Ray, has already hit the ground running on the new chapter in her story.

KLR has returned to the independent scene, already appearing on two shows for Pro Wrestling: EVE.

Known as one of the stalwarts of women’s wrestling in the UK, Ray is looking to reestablish her name before making another major move.

After impressing the fans and even EVE producer Will Ospreay, it might lead to KLR signing with All Elite Wrestling before making her way to Montreal to officially become #ALLELITE at Redemption 2026 on July 26.

3. Charlie (Dakota Kai)

Back in May 2025, there was no more shocking WWE release during their round of talent cuts than Dakota Kai.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion had become one of the most dependable and underrated in-ring performers in the women’s scene.

After being released and spending a year on the sidelines, Kai, now known as Charlie, returned to the ring and has competed against top talent, such as AEW’s Kris Statlander and MLW’s Shotzi Blackheart.

With over a year on the free agency market, AEW Redemption 2026 might finally be the time for Charlie to step into the promotion where she could play a pivotal role in further putting the women’s division on a higher level in the company.

2. Kairi Sane

From one surprising WWE release to another, the company letting go Kairi Sane in April had the wrestling world stunned.

Featured in one of the most prominent storylines in the women’s scene, Sane was embroiled in a months-long saga with her senpai Asuka and best friend IYO SKY that was set to culminate at WWE Backlash 2026.

Before the match was announced, Sane had already been released and has since started to follow Tony Khan on social media.

Now looking to explore her options in other promotions, Kairi could become a valuable asset and reliable worker in the AEW women’s division following her arrival at Redemption 2026.

1. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley)

Another shocking WWE release from the latest round of mass talent cuts had to be The Motor City Machine Guns.

Signing with WWE in 2024, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley quickly found success when they won the WWE Tag Team Championships in just their third match for the company.

This reign did not last long with The Motor City Machine Guns soon finding themselves being featured less and less on WWE TV over the past year.

Now that they are free agents again, it seems like they are likely to be heading to All Elite Wrestling and could throw their name in the hat to be the next contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Redemption in Montreal.
