While Drew McIntyre hasn’t wrestled for WWE in almost six months, the Scottish Warrior has been busy working on multiple projects.

McIntyre is one of the more recent stars to make the jump to Hollywood, having previously appeared the 2024 feature “Killer’s Game” alongside Dave Bautista.

The former Undisputed WWE Champion is set to appear in several projects, which are all in different stages of production.

With some releasing in the next few weeks and months, here are the Hollywood movie and vertical projects which are set to feature WWE’s Drew McIntyre.

Agent of Shadows

In July, WWE announced a partnership with ReelShort, with Drew McIntyre named as one of the wrestlers who would be starring alongside “two well-known vertical actors” in upcoming vertical microdrama projects.

A trailer has since been released for “Agent of Shadows”, a made-for-vertical series set to premiere on ReelShort on Friday, October 23.

The trailer featured numerous WWE names, revealing that Drew McIntyre will star alongside the likes of Jacob Fatu, Joe Hendry and Royce Keys, as well as Hall of Famers Booker T and Michael Hayes.

This short-form project will follow a secret agent who poses as his daughter’s nanny, and without revealing his true identity, must earn the trust of his daughter and her mother and thwart “corrupt suitors”.

Hexed

“Hexed” will be the 65th animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios, and will release in theaters on November 25.

Disney confirmed in a recent press release that Drew McIntyre will voice a character in the movie, which will star Hailee Steinfeld as main character Billie Doe, who “discovers secret magical abilities which, once unleashed, hurtle her out of suburbia and into a spectacle-filled journey through a vast witch realm called Hexe.”

McIntyre is following in the footsteps of CM Punk and Roman Reigns, who voiced the Zebros in Disney’s 2025 release Zootopia 2, while also being on the active WWE roster.

With Disney featuring numerous stars in cameo or side-character roles in recent project, it’s likely that we will hear more WWE voices in animated projects in years to come.

Highlander

Drew McIntyre last stepped into the ring at WrestleMania 42 in April, losing to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned match.

Ahead of this bout, McIntyre confirmed that he was set to star in the “Highlander” reboot from John Wick director Chad Stahelski.

McIntyre plays Angus MacLeod, the brother of Henry Cavill’s Connor MacLeod, who will be the protagonist for the movie.

This movie will follow a Roman Emperor who discovered a “secluded Druid stronghold” in the Caledonia mountains, and a “peaceful Celtic elder” who must protect his family and people.

The Celtic elder will be played by Russell Crowe, with this being his second project this year working with Drew McIntyre.

The movie will also feature Russell’s son Tennyson Crowe, with filming for this project starting in June.
