The ancient Mexican group has worked with New Japan for years, with the promotion sending a raft of talent to Japan every January for a week’s worth of joint shows called Fantastica Mania. In the past New Japan has sent talent on ‘excursion’ to the Mexican outfit to gain experience, most notably Hiromu Takahashi a few years back. CMLL also provides talent for the Best Of The Super Juniors tournament, such as Dragon Lee.
