A female WWE star has pitched a Legend Killer gimmick, naming the wrestlers she wants to retire in the future.
With Randy Orton and more recently GUNTHER building reputations as career-enders, a former NXT Women’s North American Champion has teased that she could bring this gimmick to the women’s division.
Speaking with Emily Mae, Blake Monroe noted that she feels grateful for her position in WWE, but aims to make next year’s SummerSlam card.
Sharing warnings for Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton and WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, the former “Mariah May” said:
“I joined WWE just over a year ago, so to already be on SmackDown and at SummerSlam is amazing, but next year I’m going to be on the card. I feel like having SummerSlam without The Glamour is kind of crazy, you know?
“You should see my wrestling costumes that are sitting there and waiting, but I kinda feel like I’m like Jaws.
“You know I’m coming, Tiffany. You know I’m coming, Rhea, if you ever come back, you know I’m coming. I’m happy to wait my turn because when I do come, it’s pretty much over for everyone else.”

Blake Monroe was then asked about the possibility of Trish Stratus becoming a potential partner or rival for her.
Pitching a Legend Killer gimmick, Monroe responded:
“I know she’s retired but she has been coming back, and I feel like I could be the one to retire her for good. I feel like if there’s ever going to be a female Legend Killer, it’s going to be me.
“My first would be Trish, then it would be the Bellas, and then it would be Paige. If anyone’s going to put them down, it’s me.”

With Nikki Bella recently stating that she plans to retire at the end of 2027, it would make sense for WWE to figure out some rough plans for her exit storyline, with just under a year and five months to go until then.
Three of the four names Monroe stated she’d retire were involved in a significant segment during night one of SummerSlam, with Nikki and Brie Bella attacking Paige after the trios loss to Fatal Influence.
Paige has now addressed the Bella Twins’ betrayal, click here to read more.
