Last-Minute Change To WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match Lineup?

A huge match with Money in the Bank ladder match implications has been announced for Friday’s (June 30) episode of SmackDown.

This week’s show will take place just one day before the highly anticipated Money in the Bank 2023 event.

During the July 1 premium live event, two ladder matches will take place to determine this years’ men’s and women’s Money in the Bank briefcase holders.

The lineup for the women’s match is not set in stone, with Bayley set to put her spot in the ladder match on the line against Shotzi on SmackDown tonight.

Damage CTRL’s Bayley is as confident as ever, and to prove that she’s not afraid, she’s putting her spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on the line against the dynamic Shotzi.

Bayley and Shotzi haven’t seen eye to eye, and a recent backstage encounter on SmackDown led to the two agreeing to the massive matchup.

As the only former Money in the Bank winner currently in the match, Bayley believes she has the upper hand heading into the July 1 Premium Live Event, but is she overconfident?

Tune in to SmackDown on Friday on FOX to see this high-stakes match!

Interestingly, this match was previously announced for last week’s June 23 SmackDown episode, but after many late changes to the show made by Vince McMahon, the match was pulled.

Bayley previously reacted to this change by reminding fans ‘card subject to change’.

The same can be said for another match that’s now been announced for tonight, which is LA Knight vs Butch vs Santos Escobar.

Vince McMahon pulled that match from last week’s show in favor of an LA Knight vs Rey Mysterio singles match.
