WWE Star ‘Disappointed’ With BBC For Editing Comments About CM Punk WWE/BBC/AEW

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis said he’s disappointed in the BBC for its editing of a quote from Aldis about CM Punk.

Aldis appeared on the BBC Radio Norfolk show, with a clip of his comments about CM Punk being shared on social media by BBC Norfolk’s Rob Butler.

In the clip, Aldis shared his opinion that there is a way for CM Punk to return to WWE and “it can be really good business for everybody.”

In response to the clip, which has been seen more than 896,000 times at the time of writing, Aldis tweeted:

“I’m disappointed that this answer is edited out of context, considering it’s the BBC.

“For the record, I have no dog in the fight, and that situation is above my pay grade.

“Be better journalists.”

It’s been well documented that many fans believe WWE has been making references to CM Punk during shows, but the company itself has denied this, and the word from WWE as of the latest update was that nobody should buy tickets or watch Survivor Series expecting to see Punk.

Meanwhile, AEW sources have stated that CM Punk isn’t the man behind the devil mask.

CM Punk has continued to troll fans on social media who believe he is either AEW or WWE-bound.
