‘Keep My F**king Name Out Your Mouth’ – Roman Reigns Sends Heated Message To CM Punk Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania 42 Main Event WWE

Roman Reigns has sent a heated message to CM Punk ahead of their main event WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

With WrestleMania 42 now just days away, Roman Reigns has taken to social media to send what could be a final message to CM Punk before they lock up in Las Vegas.

Speaking in a video posted on Twitter, Reigns dismissed the idea that he’s on the same level as his rival, poking fun at Punk for his failed UFC run and stating that the whole industry “coddles” the World Heavyweight Champion by allowing him in it.

Reigns said:

“You’ve defended the title three times. You’ve had it, what, the whole year? You’re not a fighting champion. You’re not even a fighter, we’ve seen how that went.

“Coddled? By management? Because I’m money and they’ve known that since the beginning, I told them? I’m an unsigned billion dollar check, go back and find it, it’s in the archives. You don’t have that type of confidence because you’re not the type of man I am. You’re not cut from the same fabric as me.

“It blows my mind that you think we’re f**king equals. In which way? It’s only gonna take the first couple of minutes for the whole world to see there’s no way we could ever be on the same level.”

“‘Coddled.’ The whole industry coddles you just by having you in it. You talk about the old timers, those were tough guys. We’ve seen what happens when you try to be a tough guy.

“We put our whole reputation, the whole art form on the line for you because, what? 100,000 internet marks loved you from the beginning? Let’s go back to your journey days when you were on the indies. It was the s**ts. An embarrassment.

“There’s not a legend in my family that respects you. You’re the reason we don’t let marks in the business. Keep my f**king name out your mouth.

“On Sunday, it ends for you.”

Roman Reigns Raises The Temperature Again Following WWE Raw Promo Exchange

After over two months of verbal and physical back-and-forth, CM Punk and Roman Reigns’ final promo before WrestleMania on Monday Night Raw went a lot differently to what fans would have perhaps expected.

While both reiterating their “hatred” for one another, Punk admitted to envying Reigns for his lineage, 1316 day WWE Universal Championship run and his more straight forward journey to get to WWE in comparison to him. While Reigns admitted to hoping that he would share a similarly strong connection with the audience as Punk has throughout his career.

The exchange, which also saw Punk apologize for bringing up the name of Reigns’ late father Sika, was a big tonal shift and in the eyes of many fans online, a strange note to close the build to the pair’s match.

Reigns’ social media tirade has certainly raised the temperature on things once again, and it’ll be interesting to see whether Punk sends a similarly venomous response before we get to Sunday.
