Triple H has hailed his wife Stephanie McMahon’s contributions to WWE ahead of her Hall of Fame induction on Friday, April 17.
The former Co-CEO of WWE will headline the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class, taking her place alongside AJ Styles, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, Sycho Sid and Bad News Brown.
Ahead of the Hall of Fame, last year’s headline inductee, and Stephanie’s husband, Triple H conducted a special interview with her on her very own podcast What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon.
Sharing her thoughts on being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, McMahon said she “never imagined” receiving that honor:
“It’s such an honor and I’m so grateful.
“I never ever imagined it and it’s just the biggest thing ever in my career and I’m really proud.”

Stephanie McMahon made a surprise return to WWE RAW on March 30 in Madison Square Garden
When reflecting on the moment that The Undertaker surprised Stephanie with the news of her Hall of Fame induction back at Wrestlepalooza 2025, Triple H said he could tell his wife didn’t think she deserved to be inducted, something he vehemently disagrees with.
Hailing McMahon’s contributions to WWE, Triple H said:
“The moment when he starts to say Hall of Fame, and I can see your expression change from wow, or what should be wow, to ‘I don’t deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, what are you putting me in the Hall of Fame?’
“That was your immediate take on it and it’s just funny because to everybody else at least, especially anybody that was behind the scenes thought this whole thing, you’re one of the most deserving people to go in of anybody…
The contributions from childhood so to speak, all the way through, of course it’s not only deserving it’s impossible to not to have you in there in some manner.
“But your instinct was, ‘I don’t deserve that.’ You just so much don’t see your performances as a big deal, don’t see your contributions behind the scenes as a big deal, but they’re huge.”

McMahon’s co-host on What’s Your Story? Elyse Dudzinski would then ask Steph if she feels “worthy” of the induction yet, to which the soon-to-be Hall of Famer replied:
“I don’t know if worthy is a word I would use but I definitely am accepting. I’m in such a great place and I’m so excited and I’m just so grateful.
“That’s the thing, no matter what happens in WWE moving forward, this has been my life and I’m so grateful to have had this remarkable, incredible life surrounded by these characters and people who are probably the most honest, truthful versions of themselves… I love our community.”
